Meet The Doctor

What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?

It is imperative to note that although I have extensive, comprehensive training in lower extremity surgery, I remain focused and understand that every patient has unique needs and expectations. I believe that in most cases conservative treatment options are paramount to surgery, and that surgery should be reserved for those cases in which all conservative measures have failed. I also value patient inimitability, and strive to treat my patients according to their condition as well as their unique lifestyle demands and goals.

What is the most important factor in a doctor patient relationship and why?

Clear communication. It is very important that the patient understands the full scope of their issue and the treatment options available for such. Having realistic expectations allows for a smoother recovery and hopeful significant improvement in pain.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, attending sporting events (particularly University of Florida Gator football), fast cars, cooking, rollerblading and gardening.

What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding and why?

The most rewarding part of my work is helping people return to the activities they enjoy most.
